This is a completely new exhaust designed from scratch and constructed using lightweight race-proven materials. A carbon-fibre silencer outer sleeve, heatshield, and clamp, a titanium end cap, stainless-steel header, resonator, and link pipe, and a black-coated aluminium hanger bracket create a weight saving of 39.6% (3.2 kg) over the stock exhaust.
Alternate routing of the exhaust places it on the right side of the machine (the standard version goes under the bike), resulting in a more racing style, and the carbon-fibre heatshield provides protection from heat and an attractive final touch. It offers power and torque increases of 6.4 bhp at 9,200 rpm and 4.7 Nm at 7,650 rpm, respectively, when tested on the Akrapovic dyno and compared to a Suzuki GSX-8 equipped with the standard stock system.
The exhaust has a resonator in the link pipe, giving the rider a unique sound experience, with a racing and vivid tone, while not compromising performance.
NOTE: This exhaust system is compatible with the original Suzuki soft side cases set.
NOTE: When installing the Racing Line exhaust system on Euro5+ modesl (motorbikes with 2 lambda sensors), the engine check light will appear after identifying a deviation in the stock catalytic converter s parameters.
Noise level: Baffle out: 100.6dB at 4,250rpm (an increase of 12dB compared to standard). Baffle in 95.7dB at 4,250rpm (an increase of 7.1dB compared to standard.
For perfect performance, rideability, and durability, special electronic equipment developed with Rapid Bike by Dimsport may be used.
