We manufacture our agile sport seats using our specific, sport-ergonomically differentiated 3-D contour, which perfectly integrates rider and passenger into the BMW M 1000 XR and S 1000 XR.

The materials are selected and arranged in zones to ensure grip exactly where it’s needed – and to offer the intuitive freedom of movement you want in order to control a performance bike easily, comfortably, and confidently.

The shape and inclination of the elaborately crafted seat core support the ergonomically advantageous and natural posture of the pelvis. All of this leads to a relaxed riding feel and an extra boost of active safety for both rider and passenger. On our ThermoPro rider and passenger seats, the temperature of the seat surface in full summer sun is up to 25°C lower compared to conventional cover materials.

Since rider and passenger have different needs, BMW specialist Wunderlich manufactures its AKTIVKOMFORT seats with a specific contour for each. The contour differs in detail to meet those distinct requirements. What they share: the proven, characteristic ergonomic 3-D contour, shape and angle of the carefully crafted seat core support the ergonomically advantageous and natural pelvic position.

All Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT seats offer:

The intelligent construction reliably prevents seat padding from sagging and evenly distributes seat pressure over a wider surface – noticeably reducing specific pressure on sensitive areas. Comfortable! The ergonomic shape of the special foam also relieves pressure on the coccyx. They offer perfect support and active, secure control during aggressive riding – especially during braking: who doesn’t know that feeling when the pillion passenger suddenly presses forward during hard braking and you need to brace yourself while keeping control in a potentially critical moment? With Wunderlich’s specially developed support contour, those shocking brake moments are a thing of the past. The innovative ergonomic 3-D contour also eliminates pressure points on the inner thighs when stopping at traffic lights.

With this level of integration, riding becomes simply relaxed and active. Relaxed riding creates a decisive boost in active safety.
