- Road Legality: Fully Euro 4 street-legal and EC/ECE type-approved, but ONLY when paired with the optional plug-in catalytic converter insert (Part Number: P-KAT-057). Without the catalyst installed, it functions strictly as a non-homologated track system.
- Materials: Premium titanium muffler body outer sleeve paired with a distinct, handmade carbon-fibre end cap, mated to hydroformed stainless steel 3-into-1 header loops.
- Weight Reduction: Saves 2.0 kg compared to the highly restrictive, bulky factory underbelly assembly.
- Performance Gain: Unleashes an extra 6.6 hp (+4.9 kW) at 10,100 rpm and adds 1.4 Nm of torque at 5,300 rpm, explicitly broadening mid-range response.
- Tuning Requirements: Developed as a plug-and-play installation. While it functions safely alongside the standard engine compute maps without mandatory adjustments, an ECU flash or fuel tuner map is recommended to maximize linear gains.
Fitment and Accessory Restrictions
- Centre Stand Fitment: Unlike some variations, this low-slung underslung exhaust cannot be mounted if your motorcycle uses a central stand or aftermarket center stand accessory.
- Hard Side Luggage: It offers excellent structural clearance for Yamaha genuine hard cases/panniers on the Tracer and XSR lines
