The EXTREME DirectLock cases in the slimline version lock onto the original BMW case carrier for the aluminium cases of the BMW R 1300 GS

• EXTREME DirectLock slimline case set: 80 mm narrower than the regular version (40 mm per side) – without cutout for maximum storage volume of 76 litres
• Integrated Wunderlich DirectLock system: direct, precisely fitting installation on the original mounts for BMW aluminium cases – combined with rear locking and lockable anti-theft protection at the front – two discreet adapters (one per case) provide additional secure hold
• Toploader concept with maximum flexibility: lids can be opened forwards or backwards or removed completely – for convenient loading and unloading
• High-quality workmanship for maximum durability: robust construction in Adventure look combined with stainless steel locking system and embossed Wunderlich brand logo
• 100% dustproof and waterproof thanks to special seal – additionally protected lock cylinders with removable rubber cover caps
• Lashing eyes on the lid allow additional luggage to be carried securely
• Replaceable corner protectors made from impact-resistant plastic protect the cases under heavy use and off-road conditions

Requirement: The original BMW case carriers for aluminium cases are required for mounting our EXTREME DirectLock cases.

Keyed-alike lock cylinders

So that you only need one key for your luggage system, we offer keyed-alike lock cylinders. You need three lock cylinders per case – two for the case lid fittings and one for locking the DirectLock cases to the case carrier. Matching EXTREME and EXTREME maXLine topcases

The EXTREME cases with DirectLock system can be combined with the EXTREME (#30167-40x) and EXTREME maXLine (#30167-70x) topcases. The topcases are also available in aluminium colour or black. Recommendation: If you would like to combine cases and topcases, please also order the lock cylinder set with eight keyed-alike lock cylinders and keys (six for the cases and two for the topcase). The Wunderlich EXTREME cases with DirectLock system – 80 millimetres narrower in the slimline version – with a full 76 litres of storage volume

We offer our EXTREME DirectLock case sets in a slimline version that is 80 mm narrower overall (40 mm per side), while still providing an impressive 76 litres of storage volume – compared with 90 litres for the standard EXTREME DirectLock regular case set. This allows you to “surf” elegantly through traffic in busy cities, motorway traffic jams or narrow lanes without worrying about clipping other road users or obstacles. The slimline version can also be advantageous in demanding off-road passages. Compared with riding with conventional cases, handling becomes noticeably more agile thanks to the more favourable centre of gravity of the slimline cases – and not only off-road. Back in the 1980s, adventure travel required a great deal of preparation and, above all, plenty of storage space. Tyre repair kits, smartphones, apps, credit cards and much more now make many things easier, meaning that today you can certainly set off on an adventure trip with less luggage on the bike. If that is what you want.

In addition, the EXTREME DirectLock cases meet the same high standards as the regular version: EXTREME aluminium cases for road, long-distance and off-road use. Stable, lightweight and functional in design. Quick-release system for secure, rapid mounting on the carrier. Precise sealing system protects against dust and water. Construction made from 1.5 mm aluminium with stabilising beads, stainless steel fittings, replaceable all-round protective elements on the corners and protective caps for optional locks. High resistance and long service life. Lashing eyes on the lid for securing additional luggage items, such as Rack Pack bags. Integrated luggage nets inside for quick access to rainwear, tools or first-aid kit. Hinge locks at the front and rear allow flexible lid handling: complete removal when the locks are open for convenient loading from above; when only one lock is open, the lid remains guided, can be positioned forwards or backwards and is secured by a retaining cable. In the black powder-coated version, the high-quality case has a look that is both technical and refined.
