Key Performance Specifications
- Road Legality: Fully Euro 5 road-legal and EC/ECE type-approved. A high-efficiency catalytic converter is integrated natively inside the unit from the factory to satisfy standard public highway use laws.
- Materials: High-grade titanium muffler outer body sleeve and end-cap mated to premium hydroformed stainless steel 2-into-1 collector loops. It is completed by a handmade carbon-fibre heatshield.
- Performance Maximisation: Drops backpressure smoothly to unlock an extra 2.0 hp (1.5 kW) at 9,200 rpm and adds 1.1 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm on the dyno.
- Weight Reduction: Saves 0.7 kg compared to the original factory underbelly assembly.
- Sound Profile: Emits a deeper, sportier parallel-twin growl. It tracks closely with factory parameters, delivering a static noise level of 85.9 dB at 3,875 rpm.
Setup & Accessories
- No ECU Remap Required: Because this is a road-legal system utilizing carefully balanced backpressure thresholds, it operates perfectly as a plug-and-play installation. The original fuel maps remain entirely compatible out of the box with no re-flashing necessary to keep the dashboard clear of check engine indicators.
- Solo Tail Integration: The exhaust mounts seamlessly alongside your stock passenger pegs. However, if you are prepping your R7 for solo street or track configurations, it integrates natively with the optional Akrapovič Aluminium Hanger Bracket (Part Number: P-MBY7R4) so you can safely strip away the pillion footrests
